It was a rough start for the Lady Leopards’ basketball season. Banks County fell to Lakeview’s Lady Lions 40-34. The Lady Leopards will have a chance to redeem themselves next Monday as Banks County boys and girls travel to Lakeview to take on the Lions. Another Leopard gridiron season closed last Friday night, as Banks County ended the season 2-8 overall after falling to Union County 20-48. Friday night marks the end of the 2009 football season for the Banks County Leopards, following a bitter loss to Oglethorpe in last week’s homecoming game.
