Banks County was 2-0 entering into tonight's game with 0-2 East Jackson and fans in Banks County were ready to celebrate win number three, but the Eagles were happy to disappoint and pick up their first W of the season.
Banks County's offense looked strong in the first quarter, making deep into the red-zone with six yards to go before turning the ball over after a failed field goal attempt. That would be the last time the Leopards were in a position to score.
East Jackson got the ball on their own 20-yard line with just under five minutes left in the quarter. Three plays later and the Eagles were sitting on Banks' 35. At 1:30 left in the first quarter, East Jackson scored their first TD and started the progressive push to the final 38-0 win over Banks.
