U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson has announced that Marc Fordham, his regional director for Northeast Georgia, and Tate Izlar, his field representative for Northeast Georgia, will hold an open office day for constituents on August 25, in Homer.
Fordham and Izlar will be available on Wednesday, August 25, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Banks County Chamber of Commerce conference room, 106 Yonah Homer Road, Homer.
Isakson encourages constituents to come talk with his representatives about any issues concerning the federal government, federal legislation or federal agencies, such as Veterans Affairs, the IRS, Medicare, or the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services.
“This open office day will help ensure that the views, concerns and local efforts of all Georgians are reflected in the operation of our office,” said Isakson.
As representatives for Isakson, Fordham and Izlar are responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities in their region and acting as representatives for Isakson when he is unable to personally attend events in the area.
