#1 BOE & Commissioners need to get the message on 08/13/10 at 02:14 PM [Reply]
Barefoot refused to run for re-election and Cain was stupid enough to do so! Commissioners, BOE if you raise taxes while peoples homes are being sold on the Courthouse steps, take notice! YOU WILL BE THROWN OUT OF OFFICE!!!!

Have you ever noticed...
Wouldn't it be a great idea for everyone to come remove the campaign signs that were placed along the roads and yards? Seems like all the winners signs were picked up immediately. All the loser's signs are still present and are littering. Could this be tied to the quality of the candidate...

Speaking of raising taxes...
How many citizens are aware that the BOC raised the minimum acreage for the conservation use exemption to 20 acres??? If you own less than 20 acres, when your 10 year conservation exemption expires, it will not be renewed and your property taxes will GO UP. Say thanks to your Chairman Milton Dalton and his commissioners. No one in the County tax assessors office could tell me how many land owners this would affect and how much revenue it would bring to the County. If the tax assessors office didn't know, how could Mr Dalton make a motion? And the fact that it was quickly seconded and voted with no discussion??? Bet none of them own less than 20 acres...
#3.1 Anyone want to meet me? on 11/05/10 at 08:13 PM [Reply]
I'll be at the woodshed in 9 years - We'll take all five - one at a time. When they come back, they'll not be able to sit for a while but they'll surely get the message about taxes!! Bring your own switch please.
