MAYSVILLE – JoAnn Crumley, 72, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Gillsville, she was the daughter of the late Hiram Shewbert and Fannie Adams Shewbert Coward. She was a member of Maysville Baptist church and was retired from First Commerce Bank. Mrs. Crumley was preceded in death by her husband, Bryant Crumley; and a sister, Rebecca Crocker.
Survivors include a son, Richard Crumley, Commerce; daughters, Leigh Robert,s Raleigh, N.C., and Stephanie Hill, Commerce; a brother, James Shewbert, Powder Springs; grandchildren, Julie Roberts, Brit Roberts, Nathan Crumley, Joshua Crumley, Jeremiah Crumley, Cathleen Hill and Oliver Roberts; and a great-grandchild, Landyn Roberts.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 3, at 11 a.m., from Maysville Baptist Church with Brian Stowe and Clay Hardy officiating. Burial will be at Sunrise Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral Home Monday, August 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
