Cecil Harrison Pruitt, 92, of Baldwin, formerly of Forsyth County, died Saturday, July 5, 2008.
He was a Mason (Matt Lodge) #694 F&AM. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Eloise Groover and second wife, Dorothy Pirkle.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Pruitt and Freddie Wilson, Greenville, S.C.; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth Dean and Susan C. Pruitt, Loganville, and Charles Ezra and Judy P. Pruitt, Cleveland; grandchildren, Rebecca Wilson Ahlberg, Elizabeth Wilson McDonough, David A. Wilson, Todd Bradley Pruitt, Kendall Melissa Parasot, Russell Lee Pruitt, Robin Lynn Parriman, Darren Michael Pruitt and Charles Douglas Pruitt; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Raden Pruitt, Bogart; sisters, Louise Lacey, Canton, Jean Batchelor, Monroe, and Joan Jones, Columbus; sister-in-law, Ruth Groover, Smyrna; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 8, at the Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Martin officiating and Virginia Hammett speaking. Burial was in White Chapel cemetery in Duluth.
Ingram Funeral Home, Cumming, was in charge of arrangements.
