LULA – Randy Lamar Farrington, 49, died Thursday, July 15, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born in Floyd County, he was the son of Carol Joyce Evans Farrington of Junction City, Kan., and the late Wesley Lamar Farrington. He did drywall construction.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Patricia McClure Farrington, Lula; a son, Hayden Farrington, Lula; daughter, Kara Farrington, Lula; brothers, Andy Farrington, Junction City, Kan., and Wesley Farrington, Charlotte, N.C.; sisters, Rachel Hopkins, Alabama, and Lydia Busbin, Junction City, Kan.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 20, at 3 p.m., from the Lula Assembly of Praise with Mr. Scotty Poole officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, July 20, from 2 to 3 p.m.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
