The Banks County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following burglaries and thefts during the past week:
•burglar alarm at a West County Line Road residence.
•theft at a Highway 441, Commerce, location.
•alarm at a Duncan Road, Commerce, residence. The responding officer reported all windows and doors secure and he couldn’t make contact with anyone at this location.
•shoplifting at Verizon Cellular Center, Steven B. Tanger Boulevard, Commerce.
•theft at a Damascus Road residence.
•burglary at a Rattle Trap Road, Commerce, residence.
•burglary at a Highway 326, Commerce, residence.
•burglary at a Damascus Road, Baldwin, residence.
•alarm at a Marshburn Road, Homer, residence. The homeowner advised the alarm was accidentally set off.
•burglar alarm at the Banks County Chamber of Commerce office, Yonah-Homer Road, Homer. The responding deputy checked the building and everything appeared to be O.K.
•theft by taking at a Culpepper Road, Commerce, residence. The complainant reported guns missing from this location.
•theft by taking at a Bennett Road, Commerce, residence.
•burglary at an Ambers Lane, Commerce, residence.
•burglar alarm at Banks County Elementary School, Highway 51 South, Homer. Faculty members on the scene advised everything was O.K.
•alarm at a Highway 98, Homer, residence. The homeowner advised the alarm was set off accidentally and everything was O.K.
•burglar alarm at an Evans Street, Homer, location. The responding officer checked the area and everything appeared to be O.K.
