COMMERCE – Patricia Kelty Hewell, 77, died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at BJC Nursing Home.

Born in San Bernardino, Calif., she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Ruth Morrison Kelty. She was a member of the Catholic faith and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hewell was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Horace Hewell; sons, Eric Hewell and Joel Hewell; and a daughter, Tracy Alexander.

Survivors include a son, Kurt Hewell, Lula; daughters, Denise Jordan, Commerce, and Priscilla Tatum, Dawsonville; sister, Dixie Lowden-Blaber, California; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 25, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Donald Wilson and Lamar Kastner officiating. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, May 24, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
