A preview of what to expect this fall from the Banks County gridiron Leopards is coming up this Friday as the team plays an intra-squad scrimmage on May 21.
Friday night also features the middle school team scrimmage at 6:30 p.m. at the high school football field, with the high school playing at 7:30 p.m.
To get into the games, each person’s ticket into the gate is either a box of DVD-R, a case of bottled water, a bag of hard candy (no chocolate), a variety pack of crackers, a bottle of liquid laundry detergent, or a monetary donation. One of these items per person is the ticket into the gate.
Coach Blair Armstrong wants to get people excited for the upcoming season as the Leopards will look for a return to the state playoffs.
Banks County will face a different schedule this year as the region has changed.
The Leopards first kickoff this fall will be on Aug. 13 against Franklin County in a preseason scrimmage.
