MAYSVILLE – Clyde Eugene Montgomery, 77, died Saturday, May 15, 2010.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley W. Montgomery, Maysville; sons, Wayne Eugene Montgomery, Commerce and Mark Montgomery, Maysville; daughters, Teresa Newton, Commerce, Jeannie Smith, Athens and Connie Bowman, Maysville; brothers, Claude Montgomery, Madison and Douglas Montgomery, Villa Rica; and nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Montgomery was preceded in death by two children, Mary Martha and James Montgomery.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 17, 2010 from the Riverside Baptist Church with the Revs. David Wilkins and Farrel Wilkins officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
