MAYSVILLE – Betty Jean Eaden, 72 died Thursday, May 13, 2010.

Born on March 16, 1938 in Brookhaven, she was the daughter of the late John and Nora Mae House Jones.
Mrs. Eaden was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, James Francis Eaden.

Survivors include children, Deborah Mae and Jesse McMillan, Winder, Frances and Mike Clamp, Belton, S.C. , Mary and Tony Dearing and Wanda Payne, all of Maysville, Darlene and David Turner, Monroe, James Eaden, and Amanda Dyer, both of Talmo, Terry and Dorothy Eaden, Homer, Anna and Larry Angel, Commerce, and Mark and Verna Eaden, Gainesville; brother, Henry Jones, Marietta; sister, Nellie Morris, Maysville; niece, Sherri Blackwell, Lula; 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 15, 2010 in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Vaughn Howington officiating. Burial will be in the Jackson Memorial Park, Commerce. The family will receive friends Friday, May 14, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
