HOMER – Lila Mae Gray, 65, died early Monday, March 8, 2010, at her residence.

Born in Royston, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Maebelle Alfred Couch. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Gray; and a daughter, Michelle Burgoff.

Survivors include sons, Kimsey Gray, Pendergrass, Richard Gray, Carnesville, Victor George Gray and Douglas Axl Gray, both of Homer; daughters, Connie D. Fountain, Homer, and Kathy Burton, Toccoa; stepson, Eduardo Ruiz, Homer; brothers, Bobby Couch, Danielsville, Tommy Couch, Commerce, Alfred Couch, Homer, and Buddy Couch, Arcade; sister, Barbara Couch, Commerce; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and special friend, Charles Gibson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 10, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. James Dumas officiating. Burial will be in the Banks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, March 9, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
