BUFORD – Donald K. Ter Beek Sr., 76, died peacefully Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the residence of his daughter, Brenda Thomas in Maysville, where he resided during his extended battle with cancer.

Born on September 29, 1933, in Muskegon, Mich., he was the son of the late Harold and Dorothy Ter Beek. He was a longtime resident of Buford, a Navy veteran and retired from Foote and Davies Printing Company.

Survivors include daughters, Brenda Thomas, Maysville, and Carla Rolader-Bradbury, Lawrenceville; sons, Greg Ter Beek, Lafayette, and Don Ter Beek Jr., Maysville; three sisters, Lois, Beverly and Margaret and one brother, Jack, Muskegon, Mich.; uncle, Bud Vanderloin; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and loving friends.

The family would like to thank Compassionate Care Hospice for the tender and respectful care given to Don and his children during the last weeks. Mr. Ter Beek has been cremated.
