The Banks County Chamber of Commerce announces a series of classes on marketing.
“Whether you are a for-profit or non-profit you will benefit from these classes,” chamber director Tara Fulcher said. “How are you marketing your business? Are there so many ways to promote your business that you sometimes get confused in how to reach your customers?”
Classes will be held April 27, May 4, May 11, May 18 and May 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, located at 30539 Hwy. 441 North at Banks Crossing. Lunch will be provided.
The topics include: “Pass or Fail: Marketing for Success,” on April 27; “Fish Where the Fish Are” on May 4; “Big Marketing for Small Budgets” on May 11; and “Polish Your Plan on May 18; and “Grand Finale” on May 25.
Maximum marketing is a course created by the Georgia Small Business Development Center Network to help businesses compete and be customer centered in a crowded marketplace. During this five-week interactive marketing course, participants will learn what marketing is, how to identify their customers, traditional and new ways to reach their markets, as well as the selling techniques.
“Developing a true marketing plan will be within reach after attending this course,” Fulcher said.
Maximum Series classes are limited to 25 activity students with five observers for a total class size of 30. All classes are taught and facilitated by SBDC faculty. The classes are being offered in co-operation with OneGeorgia Authority, the Entrepreneur Friendly Incentive and the Georgia Department of Economic Development.
