NICHOLSON – Timothy Lee “Tim” Thompson, 52, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009.
Born on September 23, 1957, in Athens, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benny and Linda Fay Watkins Thompson of Nicholson. He repaired small engines and was of the Baptist denomination. He was well known and well liked, loved ones stated.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Teresa Deaton Thompson, Nicholson; a daughter, Stacey McClane, Madison; step-daughter, Tiffany Archer, Athens; sister and brother-in-law, Cheri and Mark Gailey, Maysville; nephews, Jonathon and Benjamin Gailey; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 5, at 2 p.m., in Evans Memory Gardens with the Rev. Robert Garrett officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 5, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
