The 37th annual Banks County Holiday Festival will be held Friday, Sept. 4, through Sunday, Sept. 5, in downtown Homer.
The theme for this year’s event will be “Celebrating Town of Homer’s 150 years.”
The festival will kick off Friday night with the booths opening.
On Saturday, the parade will be at 10 a.m. and booths will be open all day.
Entertainment will be offered all day Saturday and will include: Banks County Band and Majorettes, Team Squares, The Maxwells, Advantage Dance Team, Redemption Outreach Dance Team, Commerce School of Dance, Apple City Cloggers, Novalee Seabolt and Brantley Gilbert. Other plans on Saturday include a cake walk and karaoke.
Gospel music will be offered from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday and will include: The Browns, Georgia, Tony Brothers and Archie Watkins.
