‘Chip’ Huff

BOGART – Billy D. “Chip” Huff Jr., 53, died Thursday, June 4, 2009.

Born in Clarke County, he was the son of Rita Oldham Huff of Statham and the late Bill Huff Sr. He was a graduate of Oconee County High School and was a third generation of Huff Roofing and Contractors.

Survivors in addition to his mother, include children, Justin (Victoria) Huff, Carlton B. Huff and Alyson Huff, all of Athens; sisters, Vickie (Paul) Baker, Bogart, and Kay Huff, Nicholson; brother, Tim (Gail) Huff, Monroe; stepmother, Anita Huff, Athens; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 6, in the chapel Lord & Stephens Funeral Home. Burial was in Bogart Baptist Church cemetery.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, West, Bogart, was in charge of arrangements.
