With a 19-10 winning season behind them, the Banks County Diamond Leopards will spend much of the summer getting ready for their next season.
On Monday, the Leopards will kick off the summer baseball season with a 3 – 5:30 p.m. practice. Following two more days of practice, Banks County will play in the Greater Athens Diamond Classic tournament starting June 4.
The team’s first individual game is a doubleheader against Franklin County June 9.
Awards
On Sunday, May 24, the Diamond Leopards held the annual baseball banquet to honor the players and graduating seniors.
