Two arrested on drug charges

Banks County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators charged two people with drug charges on Monday, May 18.

The arrests were made at 235 Leachman Road, Commerce, after investigators received information of illegal drug use at this residence, Banks County Sheriff Charles Chapman said.

When the investigators arrived and searched the residence Kenneth Wilson Fitzpatrick, 67, 235 Leachman Road, Commerce, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.

Investigators also arrested Tracy Janet Snow, 44, 2021 Blacks Creek Church Road, Danielsville, and charged her with possession of marijuana and several counts of possession of a controlled substance. Snow was in possession of several different kinds of pills, Chapman said.

BCSO investigators also found several needles, some which were ready for use, Chapman added.

Fitzpatrick and Snow were booked into the Banks County Jail on the drug charges. The investigations is continuing by the BCSO Narcotics Investigators.
