FLOWERY BRANCH – William Glenn Haney, 82, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009.
Born in Waynesville, N.C., he was the son of the late Homer and Iva Seay Haney. He worked as an insurance agent and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Haney was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Haney; daughter, Glenda Giles; and grandson, Scott DeLauder.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Algard Haney, Flowery Branch; son, Jeff Haney, Covington; daughters, Gwen Hays, Cumming, and Pat Brueggemann, Duluth; sons, Jeff Algard, Hoschton, and Bo Algard, Duluth; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 23, at 11 a.m., at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta. The family will receive friends Friday, May 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
