With the boys’ region 8-A track meet only days away, the Banks County Leopards are pumping themselves up for the competition.
Jefferson will host the region meet starting Saturday, April 25, at 10 a.m. The finals will be Monday starting at 5 p.m.
Last Wednesday, Banks competed in a tri-meet with Jefferson and Riverside.
The Leopards took third with 44.5 points, trailing behind Jefferson (78.5) and Riverside (47).
“Our athletes worked hard and had good competition. I am always proud of their accomplishments,” said coach Tressa Moore.
Overall, the boys had several placers in the meet.
